Yes. Zaytoon runs on the interoperable Bangla QR network, so one QR code works across every participating bank, MFS and fintech app. You are not locked into a single provider. More than 46 scheduled banks, seven MFS providers and several PSPs and PSOs are already on this shared network under Bangladesh Bank's National Payment Switch Bangladesh (NPSB).

There is no fixed daily limit on Bangla QR payments. Bangladesh Bank first capped static Bangla QR transactions at Tk 20,000 a day for individuals in its January 2021 guideline, then removed that ceiling in a circular dated 8 February 2023. Customers can now pay any amount, any number of times. Banks, MFS providers and PSOs may still apply their own risk based limits, and issuers must verify large or unusual transactions. Separately, a minimum Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) of 1.00 percent including VAT applies to Bangla QR merchant transactions processed through NPSB from 1 July 2026.

Yes. The whole Zaytoon platform is built on the Bangla QR standard, which brings banks, MFS providers and fintechs onto one interoperable network. The aim is to take secure financial services to communities that other providers have left out. Zaytoon has partnered with institutions such as per commercial assigned Bank to roll out Bangla QR Merchant Acquiring Services nationwide, working as a Payment System Operator and White Label Merchant Acquirer (PSO-WLMA).
